The São Lázaro Garden is the oldest municipal garden in the city of Porto in Portugal.
Opened in 1834, the garden, fresh and leafy, is romantic conception, the stately lime trees can stand out, the bandstand and the sculptural group that is not unrelated to the proximity of the School of Fine Arts of Porto. Integrated into the railing that borders the north, is a source withdrawal of the former convent of São Domingos.
The garden is rising Municipal Public Library of Porto and on the south, the magnificent baroque facade of the former convent of São Lázaro, attributed to Nicolau Nasoni.
